Mother Laments Losing Son In Nadi Road Accident

Nilam Sharma said she had lost all hopes in life after her son and breadwinner died in a road accident on Friday.

Kunnal Nair, 27, died on the spot the vehicle he was driving was involved in an accident at Korovuto in Nadi after 7pm. Ms Sharma, who lost her husband a few years ago, described her son as a loving and caring young man.

She recounted her last conversation with Mr Nair, a few hours prior to the tragic accident: “The last words he said was: ‘Mummy you always love my two sisters more than me. Your love should be equal to all of us.’ Then he said goodbye to me. That was the last time I saw my son again.”
