‘Move to Higher Grounds!’

The National Disaster Man­agement Office (NDMO) is urging people living in low lying areas and flood-prone communities to move to higher grounds or an evacuation centre in their area.

The advice comes after the ad­verse weather condition affecting the country is expected to persist over the Fiji Group this weekend.

NDMO director Vasiti Soko said those moving to evacuation centres should take two days’ worth of food.
