All jetties including nearby facilities such as passengers waiting areas will be assessed by the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF).
This was confirmed by Minister for Public Works, Meteorological Services and Transport Ro Filipe Tuisawau.
He was made aware that some facilities didn’t have proper lights such as at the Nabouwalu Jetty waiting shed area in Bua.
