Mother of six, Siteri Keci’s only hope is that her husband would still be alive to witness their daughter Siliva Burotu excelling in school.

Her daughter, Siliva, 13, won the dux prize for Ratu Nemani Memorial School in Momi, Nadroga last week. Her daughter scooped top marks in English, Math, Social Science and Health Science.

“It has been 10 years now since her father died,” Ms Keci said.

“As my youngest child, I keep a tab on her and always assist her in her education, especially during late night studies.”
