With many COVID-19 restrictions lifted already, the Nadi business community is pretty much looking forward to getting the economy back in shape.
Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) President, Ram Raju said the announcement was good for the national economy.
“I think it was long overdue. I don’t think I have had any complaints at all. And I hope it is going to be good for the national economy, domestic consumption and so there will be money circulating. To some extent, I think we have to agree to the fact that the employees needed better pay,” he said.
