Vilise Daunimasi chose not to worry about Christmas celebration, but look after the safety of the children at his home in Korovuto, Nadi, on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old security guard and his family members were the only evacuees at the Korovuto College yesterday.
Their home, located near the Nadi River, was flooded because of rising water level from heavy rain.
