Nadi To Open Stroke And Rehabilitation Centre

The South Pacific Institute of Traditional Chinese Medi­cine in Nadi will soon open a stroke and rehabilitation centre.

Institute director and Dean, Dr Zhihui Tu revealed this yesterday.

He has been serving in Nadi for the past seven years and had been involved in outreach government programmes.

He works with the University of the South Pacific Lautoka Campus in providing Chinese traditional medicine and healing short cours­es.

Dr Tu said the initiative was to curb stroke from affecting people and to teach treatments through Chinese traditional methods, med­icines and herbs.
