The JSC has yet to make a formal announcement.
The commission met last Tuesday to discuss matters concerning Mr Pryde and Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) Commissioner Barbara Malimali.
"Following Mr Pryde's response, the JSC will reconvene to deliberate further and follow processes set out in the Constitution of the Republic of Fiji," the statement said.
Background
On January 10, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) senior management lodged fresh complaints with FICAC against Mr Pryde.
The complaints, filed four days after his reinstatement by the President, allege abuse of office over gratuity payments made without presidential approval from 2013 to 2018.
Other allegations include receiving excess gratuity in 2023, paying life insurance instead of superannuation, and covering family travel expenses outside contractual terms.
The tribunal that investigated misconduct allegations against Mr Pryde cost taxpayers $88,597.45.
Mr Pryde, who was expected to return to office this month, has requested an extension of leave to address the new allegations.
