Narere Fire Stuns Neighbour

A house fire in Navosai, Narere, on Thursday has left a family homeless.

An eye witness said the fire occurred at around 8pm adding that ‘it happened really fast’.

A National Fire Authority team (pictured) was at the scene on Friday morning to gather information as it investigates the cause of the incident.

Meanwhile, 54 structural fire incidents were recorded from January this year to date which accounted for a $6 million loss.

Forty nine were residential property fires and five were commercial properties.
