Seventy-seven children graduated with their completion certificates from the Christian Days Kindergarten in Labasa, yesterday.
Head of School Viliame Turawa said kindergarten education was the most important step in a child’s education.
“No child should be left behind with a formal education, and our institution represents the first stage of education that a child attains in his or her life,” Mr Turawa said.

“Quality education is our focus and a standard level of reading to solve questions is what our teachers drive each year,” he said.
Each child accessed and fragmented into groups Mr Turawa said children were assessed for their learning abilities and divided into groups to suit their level and ability to learn.
“The groups were to encourage children to work on areas where they need special attention in. They are brought together, and students are at the same level of competency to transition into primary school education,” he said.
Father, Vishal Chand, a teacher, was emotional watching his son Viyansh Chand, walked to the presentation dais to collect his certificate.
This was during the Christian Days Kindergarten graduation where 73 students received their kindergarten certificates of completion.
