Nationwide Rains To Ease Today

The heavy downpour experienced nationwide yesterday is expected to ease today, the Fiji Meteorological Service said.

Wet weather will prevail but the rain and showers will not be as intense as yesterday, it said.

“One of the main things is localised flooding that will lead to flooding of the low-lying areas and for drivers and those out at sea, visibility would be very poor.”

The weather office also urged the public to take extra precaution when moving around.
