Minister of Justice Siromi Turaga yesterday inducted the newly-appointed Acting Commissioner Sevuloni Naucukidi.
The induction ceremony, held at the Fiji Corrections Service headquarters, marked a pivotal moment for the Fiji Corrections Service as it navigates through leadership changes.
Mr Turaga expressed confidence in the Acting Commissioner’s ability to lead the FCS during this transitional period.

He emphasised the importance of continuing the FCS’s reform and the command group’s support to the newly-appointed Acting Commissioner.
Mr Naucukidi reaffirmed his dedication to maintaining the highest standards within the Fiji Corrections Service.
“I am honoured to serve as the Acting Commissioner, and I look forward to collaborating with the entire FCS team and the Ministry of Justice to address the challenges ahead and successfully implement our reforms,” Mr Naucukidi said.
