The festive season has finally come to the small town of Navua.
For the first time, residents witnessed the first Christmas tree lighting on the main street on December 21 with hundreds witnessing the spectacular event.
It was accompanied with the traditional caroling and entertainment in front of the Navua Post Office.

If you think the season festivities has ended there, chin up, a street party on New Year’s Eve is also in the line-up as organisers promised to make the town more alive in future.
The programme was initiated by dedicated community members, the Serua-Namosi District Advisory Council, Office of PA Serua, with the partnership of the Lami Town Council and Vodafone Fiji.
