Navua to host first ever Women-Inclusivity car show

Rev up your engines, car enthusiasts and get ready to witness history in the making as Navua is set to host its first ever car show.

Seasoned Hell Racers Car Club Fiji will host the Car Show at the Rampur College Grounds in Navua on July 20.

In a bold move towards inclusivity, Car Show organiser Avi Krishna said the event is breaking stereotypes by calling on more women to participate and showcase their passion for automobiles.

Traditionally dominated by men, car shows were seen as male-centric spaces but now more women have started to enter the automotive field.

Mr Krishna said the Car Club is creating a welcoming environment for women to share their love for cars, revving up the excitement for all attendees.

“The car show will promise a vibrant display of vehicles, from classic gems to modern marvels, all shining under the Fijian sun,” Mr Krishna said.

The Car Club has already hosted five shows in the Western division in the past years.

“This event is a testament to our commitment to diversity and creating a space where all car enthusiasts, regardless of gender, can come together and share their love for automobiles.

“Our focus is on celebrating diversity and talent as the show aims to inspire and empower women to take the driver’s seat, both literally and figuratively, in the world of automotive enthusiasts.”

Attendees can look forward to a day filled with excitement, camaraderie, and the roar of engines as the Navua car show promises to be a memorable experience for all.

He said from interactive displays to engaging activities, this event is set to captivate audiences and inspire a new generation of car enthusiasts.

The show will have over 100 categories with giveaways and trophies for the winners.
