'Never be shy to seek help' Says Valebasoga Public School Dux

Never be shy to seek help because it’s better to be a fool for few minutes than the rest of your life, says Tanisha Singh.
The Valebasoga Public School dux prize recipient always reached out to her teachers, parents and even researched on Google to get more information and clarification.
The 13-year-old is the only child of Mukeshwar and Savita Singh.

She said sometimes it was important to get help from the right person at the right time.
“I believe students should work independently like what we have learnt during coronavirus pandemic,” Tanisha said.
“Teachers and parents will always do their part, but it’s the student’s responsibility to do his/her best to get good result.”
The Valebasoga, Labasa lass scored 479 marks out of 500 in the Year Eight annual examination.
Mum, Savita Singh praised her daughter’s achievement.
She felt proud because with minimum supervision her daughter achieved more than what they expected.
Ms Singh works as an accounts clerk officer while her husband is a taxi driver.
