It was a moment to cherish for villagers of Toga district in Rewa Province as they celebrated the opening of a modernised bridge at the entry to Muana Village.

Men, women and children from the three villages within Toga district, namely, Muana, Vunisei and Navatuyaba, packed the tent in Muana Village to mark the historic occasion.

The district has more than 3000 people, with one primary school (Toga District School) and two preschools in Vunisei and Muana kindergartens.

For more than 30 years, villagers living in this area had to fend for themselves from floods and possible drowning during the rainy season.
