The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office has announced the appointment of the new British High Commissioner to Fiji.
George Edgar OBE has been appointed British Commissioner to the Republic of Fiji in succession to Melanie Hopkins.
Mr George Edgar OBE has been appointed British High Commissioner to the Republic of Fiji in succession to Melanie Hopkins who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Mr Edgar will take up his appointment in August 2020.
