New Classrooms For Ba School

More than 200 students of Veisaru Sanatan Dharam School in Ba were all smiles yesterday after the opening of their new classrooms.
The school, which was destroyed by TC Winston in 2016, was opened by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama, with a total cost of repairs and renovations at $2.06 million.
Mr Bainimarama highlighted that between 2016 and now, roughly a dozen more tropical cyclones and depressions have hit Fiji and affected reconstruction.

They showed the frightening impact of climate change while reinforcing the need for the Government to do this project right, building back better in order to withstand future storms.
Yesterday’s opening included four new classrooms, one storage room and an ECE ablution block along with widespread renovations.
