New Firefighters Reminded Of Responsibilities
The National Fire Authority’s (NFA) 2023 Firefighter Recruits were reminded of their duty to serve their communities to the best of their ability and to remain vigilant.

The National Fire Authority’s (NFA) 2023 Firefighter Recruits were reminded of their duty to serve their communities to the best of their ability and to remain vigilant.
During the passing out parade at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Navy Togalevu Base, Minister for Housing and Local Government, Maciu Katamotu, emphasised the crucial role of the NFA in the country’s emergency and disaster operations.
Mr Katamotu acknowledged that the responsibilities of a firefighter have become increasingly complex and extend beyond firefighting to encompass multiple emergency response and rescue operations.
