A new row appears to be brewing at the regional university.
A Fijian Government representative on the University of the South Pacific council has sent an email to council members detailing his concerns.
The allegations were brought to the attention of the council members by Mahmood Khan, who is also the Chairman of the council’s Audit and Risk Committee.

This has sparked a flurry of emails among council members.
When approached yesterday, Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Pal Ahluwalia said it was an internal matter and that he was not at liberty to comment.
Soon after, the Fiji Sun received a threatening letter from Suva lawyer William Wylie Clarke.
He warned against publishing any of the information being circulated.
Mr Clarke is the principal partner of Suva law firm, Howards.
