NFP leader urges unity and inclusion in Christmas message

National Federation Party (NFP) leader Professor Biman Prasad has called on Fijians to embrace the spirit of unity, care and responsibility during this festive season.
In his Christmas message, Mr Prasad said the occasion is a time for families and communities across Fiji to come together, reflect on shared values, and strengthen bonds.
“For Christians, the birth of Christ reminds us of the importance of humility, compassion and service,” he said.

“These values are deeply rooted in Fiji’s social fabric and align closely with the NFP’s long-standing commitment to inclusion, social justice and equal opportunity.”
Mr Prasad said the festive season provides an opportunity for the party to reaffirm its focus on unity and practical leadership.
“NFP remains committed to policies that bring people together, strengthen trust in institutions, and improve the everyday lives of ordinary Fijians through responsible economic management and fair social development,” he said.
Looking ahead to the new year, Mr Prasad pledged that the party will continue to engage constructively with all communities and stakeholders.
“Our goal is to build a stable, inclusive and confident Fiji, where opportunity is shared and progress is guided by cooperation, respect and accountability.”
He extended best wishes to all Fijians for a safe and peaceful Christmas.
“May this season bring renewed hope and strength to families and communities, and may the year ahead be one of stability, cooperation and progress for our nation,” he said.
