Nidhish Prakash Defies The Odds, Parental Tragedies To Take The Vunimono High School Dux Award

Nidhish Prakash has defied all odds, including the death of his mother, to be named the dux of Vunimono High School last Friday.
His mother died from kidney failure three years ago and his father underwent open heart surgery in Australia early this year.
The Vuci lad was ‘demotivated’ from achieving his goal this year after his father was diagnosed with a heart failure. Upon his father’s return from his operation, Nidhish said he was more worried about his father’s recovery, rather than his school work.
