Night Club Furore: PM Not Pleased With Operating Hours

Nightclub operators are up in arms over Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka's comment outside Parliament yesterday about considering a legislation that will reduce opening hours for nightclubs.

Mr Rabuka's comments follow our headline yesterday; 'Family Seeks Justice' (30/03/23), where a father of a one-year-old was allegedly beaten outside a nightclub in Suva and died a few days later in hospital.

"I have been concerned about the length of the time of operation of nightclubs," Mr Rabuka said.
