As of 23 December 2022, nine Fijian passport holders living overseas were prohibited under the Department of Immigration to enter Fiji.

As of 23 December 2022, nine Fijian passport holders living overseas were prohibited under the Department of Immigration to enter Fiji.
This was the revelation made by Minister for Home Affairs Pio Tikoduadua in a response to a written question posed by Lenora Qereqeretabua in parliament.
The nine are Etonia Radrodro, Satish Chand, Nacanieli Nakuaraga, Christian Maatia, Tevita Amoa Tudreu, Sheenal Lal, Apisalome Koro, Keshwa Prasad Sharma and Inoke Vosailagi.

The reasons vary from court orders, stop departure orders and passports reported stolen and should not be used at any port of entry.
