NLC To Visit Bau Island
The Native Lands Commission (NLC) will visit the chiefly island of Bau tomorrow to raise awareness and address some concerns surrounding the planned installation of the Vunivalu of Bau.

The Native Lands Commission (NLC) will visit the chiefly island of Bau tomorrow to raise awareness and address some concerns surrounding the planned installation of the Vunivalu of Bau.
This chiefly title has been vacant since 1989, following the death of Ratu Sir George Cakobau.
NLC’s acting chairperson, Apimeleki Tola, said the planned visit came about after they got word about the planned installation of the Vunivalu of Bau.
