The Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), John Rabuku has confirmed that there are no allegations against the Minister for Defence and Veteran Affairs Pio Tikoduadua.

This is in regard to the case of the issuance of passports to children of members of the Grace Road Church.

Last November, a Korean national who was a member of the Church claimed to have members mistreated by supervisors for misbehaviour or as a disciplinary measure to bring them back to God.

The woman had filed a complaint with the Human Trafficking Unit of the Fiji Police Force in November last year.

It is also alleged that the Immigration Department issued the passport of the woman’s son.

This allegation was claimed by Mr Tikoduadua to have been done without his knowledge.

On Tuesday, Mr Rabuku confirmed they had not received any files with allegations against him.

“What has reached us is a file pertaining to the trafficking case ,not of Mr Tikoduadua, however this file is linked to him,” Mr Rabuku said.

“I haven’t perused the file yet because I’m focusing on the murder trial at the moment.”

Mr Rabuku said he is planning to meet Police sometimes this week or the next to go over the file.
