‘No Jab No Job’ Policy Case Adjourned
The first case, which involved Toga and four other individuals with regards to the ‘no jab, no job policy’, was struck out by Chief Justice Kamal in September on the grounds that Mr Singh had arrived an hour late to the judicial review proceedings.

The Civil High Court in Lautoka has adjourned a case challenging the ‘no jab, no job’ policy filed by lawyer Aman Ravindra Singh yesterday.
The case was heard before Chief Justice Kamal Kumar regarding former Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority staff Vasiti Toga who was represented by Aman Ravindra Singh.
This would be the second written motion filed against the Minister for Employment, Permanent Secretary for Employment and the Attorney-General challenging the ‘no jab, no job’ policy.

Mr Singh filed the fresh motion earlier this month and was called before the court yesterday.
Justice Kumar ordered Mr Singh to submit the required and necessary documents before the end of this week and for the respondents, the Minister for Employment and the A-G’s Office to also file their documents by November 17. The matter has been adjourned to December 2 for mention.
