A search operation continued yesterday for a father and daughter who have been missing after crossing the Wainikavou River in Serua on Thursday.
They were swept away by the strong river currents.
Police officers were monitoring the water level at Nuku in Serua following the incident on Thursday night while at the same time advising members of the public who were trying to cross the river not to do so because of the strong currents.
