A medical team from New Zealand arrive next month to perform life-saving heart pacemaker implantations.
The seven-member team is part of the Pacific Islands Pacemaker Services (PIPS), a charitable trust comprising a group of volunteer specialist heart doctors, cardiac physiologists and nurses from all over New Zealand.
They will be based at the Lautoka Hospital for two days, beginning on March 23, and at the Colonial War Memorial (CWM) Hospital in Suva for a week, beginning March 27.
