Olympic Gold Medalist Challenges Local Swimmers

Young Fijian swimmers need a little more knowledge and experience to be world champions says multiple record holder and two-time Olympic gold medallist Cate Campbell.

Campbell is in the country with five time Olympic gold medallist Ian Thorpe for a swimming clinic at the Suva Olympic Pool yesterday.

Speaking to SUNsports Campbell said Fijian swimmers have the ability to achieve better internationally.

“We are excited to be here, I want to thank the International Swimming Federation (FINA) for this opportunity,” Campbell said.
