One Hundred Eighty-Five Children Turn Up For Heart Screening
Sai Prema Foundation nurse manager Helen Bailey is urging parents to make use of their free children’s heart screening services, as early detection is essential.

Sai Prema Foundation nurse manager Helen Bailey is urging parents to make use of their free children’s heart screening services, as early detection is essential.
Ms Bailey, accompanied by the Foundation’s cardiac/sonographer Sai Ganesh Mungara and registered nurse Suman Sharma, conducted free heart screening at Labasa Hospital on Tuesday.
About 185 children up to 16 years old from across Vanua Levu were screened from 8am to 5pm. The youngest child to be screened was an 11-month-old boy.
