One Police Officer Looks After 845 People

Pio Tikoduadua was caught by surprise when told that the ratio of one police officer was to 845 people yesterday.
During his visit to Wailevu Police Community Post Corporal Maria Vunivesilevu briefed the Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration.
She said there were three police officers looking after a population of 2536 in Tunuloa District and Natewa District along Natewa Bay in Cakaudrove Province.

She said even the police community post based at Wailevu Village in Tunuloa district didn’t have enough resources.
