Parents Aim To Make Sure Daughter Becomes A Doctor
Nawal and Manjula Kishore want to ensure their daughter Arisha gets the opportunity to fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor. Knowing that the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was not offered under the National Toppers Local Scholarship Scheme (NTS) was a hurdle they have to overcome.

Nawal and Manjula Kishore want to ensure their daughter Arisha gets the opportunity to fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor.
Knowing that the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was not offered under the National Toppers Local Scholarship Scheme (NTS) was a hurdle they have to overcome.
The Bhawani Dayal Arya College student scored 393 out of 400 in her Year 13 examination to be the highest mark scorer for the Central Division.

“We don’t come from a rich background, but we will do our best to make sure our daughter becomes a doctor,” Mr Kishore said.
“Our daughter has done her part by scoring this mark and now it is our turn to do our part.
“We are proud of our daughter’s achievement. She studied hard; she sleeps at 9.30pm and wakes up at 4.30am to study.
“Despite staying home due to the pandemic, she made sure that she continued to study, and she did this seven days a week.”
Arisha thanked her teachers and parents for their continuous motivation.
“There were a lot of challenges I had to overcome in order to be where I am today, but it was through hard work and perseverance that I was able to overcome the challenges,” she said.
“With the school closure it was hard to access resources and expectations were high. I have always done my best because I had the best parents who always supported me.”
Her advice to youngsters is: “Aim for the stars and maybe you’ll reach the sky.”
