Parliament resumes today for a four-day sitting, with Finance Minister Esrom Immanuel facing tough questions on whether the government will cut fuel taxes amid rising global oil prices, and on how unsafe solar units are being stopped at the border.

Opposition MP Premila Kumar will question Mr Immanuel on reducing the fuel levy, while MP Rinesh Sharma will press him on import enforcement for solar systems.

MPs will also debate review reports on FNPF, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Public Trustee Corporation.

Speaker Filimone Jitoko chaired a Business Committee meeting last Thursday to finalise the week's agenda, with sitting scheduled from today through Thursday, May 28.
