People's Alliance Files Three Names As Replacement

It is understood that the three people replaced were former unionists Dan Urai, Dr Jalesi Nakarawa and Amjad Ali.

The People’s Alliance party yesterday filed three more names at the Fijian Elections Office to make up its 55 provisional candidates.

Fiji Sun was informed that the names of Liliana Warid, Josaia Rayawa and Maretino Nemani were re-filed to substitute the three names that were dropped by FEO last Friday (See inside for full list of approved candidates).

The party had initially filed 55 names last Friday but only 52 were approved by FEO. Party nominations closed at 12 noon yesterday.
