The fate of the Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection, Lynda Tabuya now hangs in the hands of The People's Alliance (PA) party's management committee.

The minister yesterday faced the party's Executive Council Disciplinary sub- committee after a report was lodged against her conduct by a fellow party member.

Ms Tabuya has been in the spotlight recently with allegations and speculations which she has neither confirmed nor denied being involved in.

This included infidelity claims, which she has publicly denied.

Several disgruntled failed PA candidates had taken to social media to air their disappointment at the minister's conduct.

Ms Tabuya declined to comment after leaving the Wesley Church Hall at Butt St, Suva, where she faced the committee.

"I can't reveal who sat in the panel because I have to first get permission from the management committee."

Mr Waqaitarewa said he would convene the management committee once the panel completed the deliberations of the case.

He did not confirm when this would happen.
