Pita Wise Named Acting Permanent Secretary In The PM's Office
Mr Wise was appointed last Thursday and has replaced former PS Yogesh Karan who is now on annual leave.

Former Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister Yogesh Karan and the new Acting Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Pita Wise.
Former senior civil servant and The People’s Alliance party member, Pita Wise has been confirmed as the Acting Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs.
This was confirmed by the Public Service Commission chairman, Luke Rokovada yesterday.
Mr Wise was appointed last Thursday and has replaced former PS Yogesh Karan who is now on annual leave.

Upon completion of his leave, Mr Karan is expected to take up the position of Permanent Secretary for Multi- Ethnic Affairs and Sugar.
