Pizza Treat Leaves 120 Children Smiling
Punjas Group General Manager Sales Robert Mudliar said the club intended to involve the immediate staff of the company to participate in social activities.

A team of 30 individuals from the Punjas Group in Lautoka took time out to visit and provide a satisfying meal to 120 special children in Lautoka yesterday.
The Punjas Group Sales and Marketing team’s Sports and Social Club provided a pizza lunch to the 120 children of Lautoka School for Special Education.
Punjas Group General Manager Sales Robert Mudliar said the club intended to involve the immediate staff of the company to participate in social activities.

“The reason why we formed this social club was just to help our immediate staff do social activities such as lunch for the Lautoka School for Special Education or the Old People’s Home,” he said.
“We also have a plan to visit the Old People’s Home and with this lunch we contributed from our own pockets and we did our own fundraising as well.”
He said this first major project for the club would continue to be an eye-opener for the staff of the Punjas Group.
Lautoka School for Special Education Assistant Head Teacher Kailash Pillay said the children were satisfied with their lunch from the Punjas Group Sports and Social Club.
“From the school it is something that we really appreciate,” he said.
“We are really appreciative of their kind gesture and putting a smile on their faces is the best first thing we want to see as teachers of this school.”
