PM: Arrest Everyone Involved
Brigadier General Qiliho has commended the support of the public in coming forward with information and witnesses have been forthcoming in assisting the investigation team.

The Commissioner of Police Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho has reiterated that all efforts are being directed towards the arrest of those involved in the attacks in Raiwai on Sunday.
Of the nine suspects, five have to date been arrested, two have been charged and will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today, while three continue to be questioned.
Four are yet to be arrested and we have information that one suspect has moved over to the Western Division and a team is pursuing his whereabouts.

During a briefing with the Hon. Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama, where he had raised his concerns about the incident, and had given specific direction for the arrest of everyone involved to be investigated, charged and produced in court, was assured by the Commissioner of Police, that all efforts were being directed to rounding up everyone involved.
Brigadier General Qiliho said the same group of youths are involved in similar incidents recorded in the past, and officers have been directed to arrest everyone involved, have them charged and produced in Court so as to put an end to these incidents.
The Minister for Defence, National Security and Policing Hon. Inia Seruiratu has also been briefed on the progress of actions taken by Police.
