PM: GCC To Meet Soon

The Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Ifereimi Vasu, will “initially” chair the revived Great Council of Chiefs (GCC) or the Bose Levu Vakaturaga meeting.

This was confirmed by the Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, on Fri­day.

Mr Rabuka did not reveal the date of the first sitting of the GCC but indicated that they would meet soon.
