The case of a 35-year-old woman charged with 11 counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception had been adjourned to February 27 for mention.
Sereima Adi Mar, who was the treasurer of the Fiji Police Academy Wives Club, appeared before Suva Magistrate Liyanage Wickramasekara last Friday.
Mar was released on $2000 bail bond and ordered to adhere to standard bail conditions.

She is charged for allegedly obtaining $5890 from the club after promising to purchase club member’s uniforms and canvas for the Police Wives tournament, but failed to do so.
The alleged incident happened between February 10, 2017 to August 12, 2017 in Suva.
Her right to counsel was read out to her in court and she chose to be represented by the Legal Aid Commission.
Police prosecutor Constable Walter Taito served the accused with full phase disclosures.
Mar was released on $2000 bail bond and ordered to adhere to standard bail conditions.
Her case was adjourned to February 27 for mention.
