Police in Raiwaqa will speak with several children captured in a viral video harassing a family in Wailea Settlement in the presence of their parents.

Raiwaqa Police conducted enquiries and visited the complainant, during which the children, all residents of the same community, were identified.

According to police, the complainant said the boys had been attempting to remove a beehive located near his back window when he asked them to leave his property.

He told officers he did not wish to pursue the matter further but requested that the boys be formally warned to stay away from his premises.

The Fiji Police Force is urging parents and guardians to remind children about respecting neighbours and elders and to counsel them on the consequences of their behaviour.
