Police Classify Reported Deaths This Week As Murder

Two separate incidents that caused the death of two people this week have been classified by Police as murder.

The death of Jiya Jaanvi, a Year Nine student of Labasa College, who was found dead on Wednesday night in Namara, Labasa and the death of a woman found inside her shop in Lami on Tuesday have been classified as murder.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said investigations on the matters continue.
