Police Investigate Events Leading To Woman's Death

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman whose body was found inside a house yesterday.

A team of Police officers were at the scene at the house at Salato Road in Namadi Heights, Suva.

A plaque installed outside the house revealed the property is owned by Jia Construction (Fiji) Limited.

When contacted on the phone to the contact written on the plaque, a person who identified himself only as ‘Jack’ said his English was not good and could not comment.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed receiving a report. She could not comment any further as investigations were still at an early stage.
