Police Investigate Sex, Drug Allegation
It comes after a resident claimed that he has seen evidence of nocturnal activities like, used condoms, aluminium foils allegedly used for wrapping marijuana and even small plastic bags alleged for meth packaging.

Police are looking into allegations that Rewa Street has become an area for sex workers, drug users and promiscuous activities.
It comes after a resident claimed that he has seen evidence of nocturnal activities like, used condoms, aluminium foils allegedly used for wrapping marijuana and even small plastic bags alleged for meth packaging.
Peter Nabuwad, said: “There is a street light which has just been fixed. What the sex workers do is, they throw stones at the lights so that the area is dark,” Mr Nabuwad claimed.

“I have seen them sitting near the footpath and injecting themselves. I don’t know what exactly they are doing, possibly taking drugs.
“Sometimes one or two of them would come knocking on my door asking for water,” he said.
He also alleged that the Rewa Street bus stop was a spot mainly for female and transgender sex workers.
Another resident, Abhay Ram said it was nothing new to them because it had been happening for decades.
Sex workers at Rewa Street say drug use was part of their daily routine.
A sex worker from Vatuwaqa said meth would keep them awake for longer periods.
A sex worker and former meth user had also given an interview on the area and drug use to the Australian media.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said Police were looking into the issue.
