Police Investigate Woman Allegedly Assaulted
The complainant, who is a mother of four, alleged she was assaulted twice that night by her husband, the second time allegedly in front of other lawmen at the Lautoka Police Station.

The Fiji Police Force has confirmed that investigation is underway of a video circulating on social media showing a Police Officer confronting his wife and allegedly assaulting her.
The video, said to be taken by the wife, shows a woman getting into a Police vehicle and the wife confronting her husband who was driving.
Commissioner of Police, Brigadier–General Sitiveni Qiliho, said: “I have directed Director Internal Affairs for prompt investigations.”

The alleged incident occurred at Nadovu Park, Lautoka on Monday night.

The wife, 33, alleged in her social media post that her husband has been taking the women around in the Police vehicle.
