The Fiji Police Force’s Internal Affairs Department is handling both investigations and is expected to submit its initial findings to Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu soon.
Commissioner Tudravu has urged the public to allow the investigation process to take its course before making judgments, particularly on social media.
While acknowledging that allegations against Police officers can spark strong emotions, he emphasised that the priority remains ensuring justice through a thorough and impartial investigation.
