Police probe Year 12 exam paper theft
Sigatoka school reports missing papers as investigations continue

The Fiji Police Force is carrying out an investigation following the theft of Year 12 examination papers from a Sigatoka secondary school.
Police confirmed that the matter was reported by the school principal yesterday after he discovered sealed bags containing the examination papers had been opened, with papers scattered.
“Upon verification, it was confirmed that a number of examination papers were missing,” police said.

Year 12 students across Fiji began their 2025 Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) yesterday.
The Ministry of Education said that a total of 13,120 students will sit for the FY12CE this year, an increase from 12,868 students in 2024, across 177 centres nationwide.
The examination period runs from November 11 to November 21, 2025.
