The Fiji Police Force will not stop until we uproot all marijuana plants from this island.
Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu made the remarks while officiating at the Koro High School passing-out parade on Friday.
“If you are listening today and you are planting marijuana, listen to my voice and listen well, we will hunt you down until you are tired and you will give up planting marijuana,” Mr Tudravu said.

“Children, do not eat marijuana, do not even try it. Say no to drugs.
“I am pleading with you, take pride of your school, and always ensure that you never put down the name of your school or your island.
“Never ever try it out.”
Mr Tudravu’s call is a continuation of his messages to drug dealers operating in the country.
“We are watching you."
Mr Tudravu, known for his tough stance on crime, stated that the Fiji Police Force is intensifying efforts to disrupt the drug trade and hold offenders accountable.
“To those involved in drug dealing, we are watching you. Your activities will no longer go unchecked,” Mr Tudravu said.
“We have the resources, the intelligence, and the commitment to bring you to justice.”
