Prasad And Ravindra Excited, Did Not Expect To Win Valentine’s Day Promotion

Nalini Prasad and Rajnesh Ravindra were the lucky two top prize winners of the Fiji Sun’s 2018 Valentine’s Day promotion.

The event was run by the Fiji Sun in conjunction with the Tappoo Group.

Mrs Prasad, 45, of Lautoka, has been married for the past 25 years, and was happy to be one of the two couples who won the Spa treat­ment prize sponsored by Tappoo.

She said: “I am overwhelmed to win this prize because I did not expect it. I thank the Fiji Sun and Tappoo for organising this promo­tion. I am happy but did not expect this.”

She has participated in similar competitions before including the Fiji Sun Brain Teaser competition and has already won free Vodafone talk time.

“I have participated in the compe­tition eight times after I saw it. I do read the Fiji Sun on a daily basis,” Mrs Prasad said.

Other Winners

Dipika Darshana Ram, 24, of Rarawai in Ba was the winner of Novo $100 shopping voucher.

The Fiji National University stu­dent said: “I came to know about this promotion on Facebook so I decided to text and try my luck.

“I tried a couple of times, but I didn’t think I would win. This time I was lucky enough, I did.

“I have always loved reading news in the Fiji Sun because it has always had the latest news which is more detailed.

“Saturday is my birthday so this is an early birthday present for me.

“This was the first time for me to win something like this.”

Sharifa Shah of Lautoka, 48, was the winner of the $100 shopping voucher for Passion for Fashion.

“I saw the advertisement so I tex­ted once. This was my first attempt at something like this and I won. I am very happy and excited, who knew that reading the paper every­day would help me win a $100 shop­ping voucher.”
